Introduction
A few months ago I was watching a video by a guy called Clark Nova called "Stuttering xylophone in Ableton Live's Sampler". I enjoyed the sounds he made and decided to replicate it. I have Ableton Live but not Sampler so I tried doing the same thing in Kontakt. I got pretty close but seemed to hit a bug in Kontakt where the CPU would spike really high sometimes. That's when I got to wondering if I could replicate it in Reaktor. Novaphone 340G is the end result of a long evolution from that moment to a performance instrument (well suited I think to live performance) based around the same initial concept: long, back and forth, loops.
